Afgelopen week terug gekomen van het prachtige Zakynthos. 3 excursies bij jackie geboekt. Eco vriendelijke schildpadden tour, eilandtour en scheepswrak. Allemaal ongelofelijk mooi! Bij de schildpadden tour is het heel erg fijn dat Jackie samenwerkt met mensen die zich inzetten om de schildpadden te redden! Heel mooi om te zien! Verder was de eilandtour de eerste keer in het Nederlands toen ik er was, heel erg gezellig. Jackie laat deze dag het echte Zakynthos zien, ik ben blij dat ik deze excursie ondanks dat ik ook een auto had gehuurd, gedaan heb. Want Jackie laat plekken zien waar ik zelf nooit naar toe zou zijn gegaan. En het scheepswrak...wat was dat mooi zeg. Jackie gaat echt als een van de eerste en heel vroeg ernaatoe. Na een lekker  ontbijt op een prachtige lokatie, met 2 leuke speetboten naar het wrak...en wij waren daar ook echt alleen. Geen andere boten, geen andere mensen! Heerlijk!

Daarbij wil ik ook graag zeggen dat de excursies ook allemaal goede prijzen hebben! (beter dan de grote reisorganisaties). En Jackie verteld altijd heel veel onderweg, ook over de mythologie, wat het allemaal nog extra leuk maakt!

Hi Jackie and everyone at Nefis Travel, we just wanted to say a huge thank you for the two wonderful trips with you during our stay in Tsilivi. We thouroughly enjoyed both trips, it was lovely arriving at shipwreck bay to have the beach to ourselves for almost an hour, it was well worth the early start! We found the information given by Jackie on both tours interesting and enjoyable, we also have a lot of respect for the captain of our boat during the turtle spotting trip for obeying the rules of the marine park, unlike some of the other boats we seen! Hallo allemaal,

We zijn inmiddels alweer terug in regenachtig nederland, maar we kijken terug op een fantastische week Zakynthos. We hadden vanuit nederland al contact met jackie gehad om een excursie te regelen. Via onze reisorganisatie konden we ook vanalles regelen, maar geloof me: Ik ben blij dat we het bij jackie hebben gedaan. Wij hebben de shipwreck/blue caves en zwavel en collageen strand gedaan. We moesten wel erg vroeg op (7 uur werden we opgehaald) maar dat was het echt waard. De strandjes die we bezochten waren fantastich, maar wat ik het beste ervan vond is dat het met een relatief kleine groep wordt gedaan. We waren met een stuk of 45 en geloof me dat merk je. We waten bij het scheepswrak (lekker vroeg al) en we hadden bijna een prive strand. Onderweg (met de speedboot) naar de blue caves kwamen we zo'n andere boot tegen die naar het strandje ging. Het was een grote boot en die zat bomvol, denk zeker wel een paar honderd man. Nou kortom het was een fantastische ervaring en jackie heeft in de bus ook nog allerlei informatie over het eiland en de geschiedenis verteld. Ik raad het dan ook aan iedereen aan om via nefis je excursie's te regelen.

Mede dankzij De tours die we met Jackie van Nefis travel hebben gemaakt, hebben we een fantastische vakantie gehad.

Het scheepswrak en de blauwe grotten, de schildpadden en de vrijwilligers die ze beschermen.( We hebben ook veel info daarover gekregen en petje af wat ze er allemaal voor over hebben.) De eilandtour was ook heel indrukwekkend met prachtige vergezichten en dorpjes om te bezichtigen.Teveel om allemaal te benoemen. Jackie heeft tijdens de lunch in een  taverne. samen met de eigenaar prachtige liederen gezongen en gitaar gespeeld. Het is echt een aanrader om je excursies met Jackie te doen omdat het allemaal goed is geregeld en niet zo masaal is. We gaan zeker nog eens terug naar Zakynthos

Shipwreck/Blue Cave VIP Trip - August 2010

This was an absolutely fantastic trip, we took our two teenage sons who enjoyed the trip equally.    The early start was well worth it getting to the shipwreck beach before all the other boats carrying 100's of people.  Our group travelled by two speedboats (a thrill in inself).  The colour of the sea at the Shipwreck beach was such a beautiful turquouise colour we  were totally mesmorized!   The lads particularly enjoyed the swim stop at the Blue Caves.  The taverna we stopped at for breakfast/refreshments and later for lunch was in a superb spot with beautiful views overlooking the sea, the food was excellent too.     Stopping at the sulphur/collagen beach on the way home was also a highlight, a lovely setting, very picturesque, and we all tried the body scrubbing, which did feel good!

Thank you for an absolutely wonderful trip Jackie and co, we would definitely do a repeat of this exact trip if (hopefully when) we return to beautiful Zakynthos.  :)

Prachtig geregelde excursies! Het scheepswrak was een mooi "excuus" om Zakynthos aan de buitenzijde te ontdekken. Voor de jeugd (en de oudere jeugdigen) een echte beleving met de supersnelle speedboat. Floaten in zee een aparte ervaring. De tour naar het zeeschildpaddeneiland was onze 2e excursie, eco-vriendelijk en veel informatie van vrijwilligers van Archelon. Zelfs een zeldzame "monkey-seal" en schildpadden gezien. Mail vooraf of sms Jackie en ze komt met haar programma naar je hotel/appartement. Klasse geregeld. Volgend jaar wellicht wel naar Olympia. Mede door deze trips een uitstekende vakantieervaring voor ons.

We had a great holiday in Tsvili especially on the two excursion we did the Shipwreck and Back to roots which was my favourite. Jackie was a great tour guide full of passion and knowledge about Greek Mythology (i loved the little tales she told). Not only is she multi-lingual but she has a talent for singing. She found the best taverna's to eat at and created a great atmosphere for our small group.

Wij zijn maandag 2 augustus terug gekomen van onze vakantie van Zakynthos. Wij hebben het heerlijk gehad! De 2 excusrsies, Scheepswrak en Schildpaddeneiland, door jou georganiseerd en verzorgd waren fantastisch. Wij hebben prachtige plekjes gezien van het eiland en de door jou persoonlijke reisbegeleiding hebben wij als zeer prettig ervaren. Jouw liefde voor het eiland heb je goed op ons weten over te brengen. Wij komen zeker terug! Zakynthos heeft ons geraakt en er is nog genoeg om te ontdekken. Wij wensen je nog een heerlijk seizoen en wie weet tot volgend jaar.

We have just returned from a fantastic holiday in Tsilivi Zante. We had a great day out with nefis travel and jacki exploring shipwreck island and swimming in the beautiful blue caves, then on to lunch at a lovely taverna that served fabulous food with great service. Then we went on to the sulphur springs what an experience... WE LOVED IT!! Its the second year i have done this trip with nefis travel and jacki and i would recommend it to everyone and would be back again to do the same next year.

Hi, ich möchte nur sagen, man merkte dem Team an, dass es Spaß an seiner Arbeit hat. Das Englisch war auch für die Deutschen mit normalen Englischkenntnissen gut zu verstehen. Besonders schön war der Ausflug zum Schiffswrak. Mit den kleinen Motorbooten konnten wir auch in die kleinen Hölen fahren und zurückzu durfte meine Tochter sogar das Boot steuern. Überhaupt - einen großen Pluspunkt für die Kinderfreundlichkeit.

Hoi Jackie, inmiddels zijn we al weer een paar dagen thuis en zijn nu de foto's, die we hebben gemaakt op het eiland en tijdens jouw excursie, aan het uitzoeken. Wat is het toch een geweldig mooi eiland en ook zo veelzijdig. De huurauto welke je had geregeld was perfect en hebben er dan ook 250 km probleemloos meerond getoerd. De excursie naar het Shipwrek was tot in de puntjes geregeld en ook al kon helaas niet iedereen naar het shipwrek/strand door enorme golfslag, heeft iedereen het enorm naar hun zin gehad. En als afsluiter het bezoek aan Xigia beach. Ik zie er nu echt 10 jaar jonger uit. Oja, ik vergeet haast nog de gezellige avond bij de Mambo-bar, alwaar we gezamenlijk (Nederlanders) de halve finale van het WK hebben gekeken.
We willen je nogmaals bedanken voor deze onvergetelijke vakantie!

I recently married in zakynthos and contacted jakie at very short notice to arrange my hen do she did a fabulous job with only a few hours notice i can't belive what she managed to pull together with such attention to detail i would highly recommended jackie and her company we had a brilliant evening what a lovely lady i just wish i had booked the wedding through her!!!

Just returned from a week in Zakynthos (July 2010) and whilst we were there took a  VIP Back to Roots tour with Jackie. It was a fabulous day out, which takes you to off the beaten track to places where tourists would not normally go. From mountain villages to beautiful sandy beaches to the monastery and the oldest olive tree on the island - with loads of stories of Greek mythology and history thrown in). As there were only 14 of us on this trip we felt we  really were getting VIP treatment. I would highly recommend this trip (we went with a 12 year old who also had a great day -  he especially enojoyed the traditional Greek breakfast). Thank you Jackie, you obviously love your job.

We would just like to say a big thank you to Jackie and the team! They are the best & most organised travel company we have had day trips with. They made our day so special, as i had organised to ask my now wife to be, to marry me on Smugglers Cove each! Jackie sang a greek love song while i said my speech and had champagne ready for us after! (luckily Sarah said yes!). They truly made this day memorable! The trip itself was made personal as there was only 20 of us on the trip and we were the 1st boat to Shipwreck Island and had the beach to ourselves for an hour! The taverna we visited was wonderful, the food is great and the view is amazing. Jackie is really good, and knows her history of the island, so you learn alot too! We also did the Turtle sightseeing trip, where we actually saw a loggerhead turtle, and then went on and swam in the caves which was also a great day. All in all we could not fault Nefis travel, they make the trips very personal to you and would highly recommend them to anybody. Thanks Guys!!

Wij zijn drie keer met Nefis Travel op excursie geweest (1x met Jackie en 2 x met Lesley). Uptown-downtown, scheepswrak en de schildpaddentocht.

Wij en onze kinderen (8, 10 en 12) hebben genoten. Met de bus dwars door Zakynthos uitkijkend op olijfbomen en citroenbonen. Naar nieuwe locaties gebracht worden en meer leren over de geschiedenis en de mythologie. Met de boot over de blauwe ionische zee en hier en daar aanleggen om te zwemmen. Het was een fantastische ervaring!!

We went on the VIP Shipwreck on 5th June and had a fantastic time! It was the most memorable experience from our holiday in Zakynthos. This trip was great as we were the only boat on Smugglers Bay and felt like we could enjoy it more. Jackie was a fabulous hostess and made you feel very welcoming and was full of knowledge. The taverna we ate in was great and had a true Greek feel to it, food was divine! The home made Mousska is a must! Then we went on to Xingia beach, that was a mini paradise! Loved putting the sand on my body then washing it off to get silky smooth skin! Great body scrub! I think I'll be coming back once a year for that free treatment! :) Lastly I'd like to say we had the pleasure of seeing Jackie perform in our hotel we stayed in 'The Lesante Spa & Resort Hotel' - had such a great night and Jackie - you have a fabulous voice!!!  I would thoroughly recommend going on any of the trips there are brilliant! If we ever come back to Zakynthos I wouldn't hesitate to book another!

May 2010. Just back from a week at the Erietta Suites, went on the back to the roots tour. The most enjoyable holiday trip we have ever been on even the choppy boat trip it was a laugh, for that we thank you Jackie. You are very knowledgable, talented lady more power to your elbow.

Afgelopen week (3 t/m 10 mei)  zijn we 3 x op excursie geweest met Jackie:

Het was een verademing! Niet hoeven na te denken waar naar toe, het was allemaal geregeld! Jackie uit Nederland, die al 10 jr hier woont en werkt,  laat de schoonheid zien van een authentiek Zakynthos en kent vele plaatsjes, mensen en prachtige tochten over land en water. Jackie legt veel uit, kent de griekse mythologie waarover ze veel vertelt. Ze spreek vloeiend grieks en zorgt dat alles overal vlotjes verloopt. De kleine groepjes waarmee ze op pad gaat, zijn echt gezellig. Een absolute aanrader om hier mee op pad te gaan, niet twijfelen, gewoon doen!!

Watching the video brought back lovely memories of the trip - knew we had enjoyed it but it was lovely to see again.

Sorry don't think we will be in zante this year but when we do come again we will come to see you and probably go on this wonderful trip again.

We have been to Zakynthos in August 2009. We have made trips with Nefis former Nefeli travel. We have done the back to the roots trip, the blue caves, Shipwrack tour and we have been horseriding in Tsivili (recommented to every one even if your don't have riding experience, it was wonderful).

Voor de Nederlanders onder ons, zeker doen de trips zijn net iets exclusiever dan de grote massa excursies en Jackie weet ontzettend veel over de geschiedenis van griekenland en Zakynthos. Back to the roots heeft zoveel indruk op ons gemaakt met als culinair en muzikaal hoogtepunt de lunch. We gaan volgend jaar terug en boeken zeker weer een excursie bij Nefis travel. Dus, gewoon DOEN!

We just want to say a big THANK-YOU for the wonderful back to roots experience.  It was a terrific day despite the weather and your knowledge and enthusiasm inspired us to buy some books on greek mythology.  We loved the whole trip, the flea market and the lovely cheese and bread breakfast, our trip to the folk museum, the wonderful views, our trip to the moutain villages, all your stories and songs and our lunch in the authentic taverna.  We would certainly recommend this trip to others.  

This trip was fantastic for all of us including two teenagers.

Sorry to be back from tsilivi but certainly not sorry we joined Jackie and Michelle on the 'Back to the Roots' Trip on 1st October 09. It was a fantastic trip and was very very interesting - Jackie has an excellent knowledge of the island and is a really lovely lady. Just to get away into the villages and see the real Greece is brilliant and lunch in the taverna on this trip was lovely espcially when Jackie sang both on her own and with the owner of the taverna, she has a beautiful voice. The place was what I personally like - what I call a 'proper taverna' as oppose to the touristy type restaurants of which there are many but never with the same lovely feel.

If I had to recommend to someone to do one trip I would say do this one - in one word 'EXCELLENT'

We went on the back to the roots tour with Jackie on 17th Sept. Had a brilliant day. So much nicer to be in a mini-bus, much more personal, get to know the people on the trip with you. Jackie made the tour very interesting and for first timers to Zakynthos, we learnt a lot about the Island. The tour by mini-bus is defenitely the way forward. Lot less time waiting for people to return to the bus and with regards our stop at Giri, probably a place a standard coach could not drive through.

Thank you Jackie for a super day we both enjoyed it. If by any chance one of the two cornish ladies is reading this, the next bit is for you. If you win that thumbs up competition with the photograph that I took of you two and Turtle Island - feel free to let me know.

We went on the VIP Shipwreck and Blue Caves tour with Jackie.  The whole trip was absolutely brilliant.  From the drive to the destination, the bus driver,  the captain on the boat (who is has enthusiastic as Jackie) and the drive back stopping at the lovely fish restaurant and natural spa.. Best money we spent in Zante... 

Jackie is one on the best hosts/guides we have ever had the pleasure of accompanying on a trip.  Her knowledge of the local area and greek mythology is second to none. 

We would recommend the tours with Nefeli and Jackie to anyone.  A little more expensive than the overcrowded big boats but well worth the extra Euros for the smaller more enjoyable experience. 

Hope to be back next year to see the Turtles....

 We have just arrived back in Aberdeenshire after our wonderful week in Tsilivi.  We stayed at the Lesante Hotel & Spa (first class) and without a doubt the highlight of our break was the VIP Shipwreck tour on Sat 5th Sept.  Jackie provided a superb day out, with 5 beautiful locations included.  Her knowledge and enthusiasm for the island is immediately apparent, and we were delighted with the whole experience.  I cannot recommend this special trip highly enough!! Terrific day out with a really pleasant guide and a great price.!!

Midden augustus hebben wij 2 weken van een heerlijke zonvakantie genoten op Zakynthos. Als je twee weken op zo'n klein eilandje zit, dien je eigenlijk wel één of meerdere excursies te doen. Zonder als je dat niet doet. Die dagen blijven je uiteindelijk ook meer bij dan al die andere dagen dat je op het strand of aan het zwembad hebt gelegen.

Als drie jeugdige mensen zijnde (want dat zijn wij met 23 tot 27jr), dachten we bij het woord excursie al aan bussen met bejaarden. Gelukkig bleek dat bij Jackie geenszins het geval! Wij waren die dag de enige Nederlanders in de volle bus met voornamelijk Engelsen, waarbij Jackie van ons echt een stel VIPS maakten (Nederlanders onder elkaar he?). Zo mochten we bij de "Blue Caves & Shipwreck" excursie vóór op de boot staan, terwijl de rest achterop plaats moest nemen. We hadden alle 3 een héérlijk Titanic gevoel, echt geweldig! En de rest maar kijken waarom wij toch zo'n speciale positie kregen haha! Het was een zéér leuke dag welke wij iedereen kunnen aanbevelen, jong en oud!

Bij de excursie naar Athene was Jackie er niet bij, maar ook die excursie was de moeite waard. Athene kwam op ons over als een vieze megagrote stad, maar het bezoek aan de Akropolis maakte alles helemaal top! Ook het hotel was uitstekend (beter dan ons hotel op Zakynthos).

Aan alle Nederlanders die dit lezen en overwegen om Jackie de excursie te laten regelen: DOEN! Er zitten op Zakynthos om te 10 meter aanbieders van dezelfde excursie, maar via Jackie geregeld is het véél beter! En mocht de prijs van een excursie uiteindelijk lager zijn dan je vooraf geregeld had, dan past Jackie automatisch de prijs aan. Heel netjes dus.

After returning from Tsilivi one of the 1st things I want to do is recomend Nefeli's VIP shipwreck tour to anybody who stumbles upon this website.

We went on the trip and it was fantastic, you get to swim in caves, visit the shipwreck before the crowds and experience the sulphur beach (which made my skin feel amazing)! The trip was well worth the price and we couldn't of asked for a better guide, Jackie. Jackie knows anything and everything about Zante and was very interesting to listen to, such a nice lady.

The year before my boyfriend and I booked to visit the shipwreck with one of the company's that use the larger boats. We didn't get to see it because the water was too rough. This wouldn't have happened if we had booked with Nefeli 1st time round because they only use a speed boat that fits around 30ish people on it.

Book with Nefeli, you won't regret it. Jenni. x

While in Tsilivi we booked the Blue Caves and Shipwreck tour with Nefeli and we definitely got more than we bargained for.  Getting to the shipwreck beach before the masses was a bonus.  Having lunch in the fishing village then bathing in the sulphur beach, plus the tales and information provided by Jackie all helped to make this a truely memorable excursion - definitely to be recommended.

Eind juni waren wij in hotel Zanta Maris, en hebben vandaar uit tochtjes gemaakt via Nefeli Travel, en Jackie was onze ned. begeleidster

Hartstikke gezellig, en duidelijke uitleg over alles wat wij zagen.

De schildpad trip een belevenis en zeker als je ook nog een schildpad boven water ziet, en op de foto krijgt.

Een eilandtoer, door alle smalle straatjes en tussenstops, het scheepswrak, op de boot naar de blauwe grotten, een hele belevenis, daarbij nog even lekker het water in.

Als je met nog meer nederlanders gaat,  Jackie,vertelt wel ,wetende dat zij zo wel het nederlands blijft spreken..

Jackie ik hoop dat je vele nederlanders het eiland mag laten zien, het is de moeite waard.

We really enjoyed the 'VIP Pirates & Turtles' trip last week.  Everything was arranged perfectly, from booking at the office, to pick up at the coach point and transfer to the harbour and the boat.  During the transfer we learned lots of facts about Zakynthos that we hadn't previously known due to Jackie's love of the island and enthusiasm to share with her guests!. We felt welcomed and it was a great friendly atmosphere; we learned a lot about turtles from the turtle protection volunteers on board who were able to answer all our questions and gave a super presentation.  We'll definitely be booking with you again on our next holiday, many thanks!!

In juli zijn wij met Nefeli travel op excursie geweest naar het scheepswrak. Voor ons een geweldige dag met anders dan de eerdere excursies een klein gezelschap. Hierdoor was de sfeer intiemer en kwamen we op plekjes waar we anders nooit kwamen.Ook de complimenten aan reisleidster Jacky die duidelijk, en vol passie haar verhalen over het eiland verteld.We hebben genoten!!

Were back in Rotterdam and we miss the beautyfull island and the nice weather. We have enjoyed the trips we made with you and from you. The turtle spotting trip was exithing and the Kefalonia tour and the Athens tour were also fantastic. The good service and advises you gave were great. The blue caves and shipwreck tour we did on our own but with you're advise were perfect. So we hope that you're company will do great and that a lot more tourists will enjoy you're expertise. Hi Jackie thanks for a great tour in Back to the Roots and all the Mythological stories. It was great to see the real Greece.We also took the half day trip to see the Loggerhead Turtles. Tsilivi is a really nice place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there where you made us feel so welcome. We hope to see you when we can manage back to Zante.

Thanks for a good tour around the island last thursday (03.07.2009)! The best of it all - the taverna in Giri - you and the host performing the greek original songs - right from heart! Take care and send me the cd - when you have been to the studio! And the food was execellent too! It coulden't be better!

Natuurlijk moet er op jou site ook een nederlandse vermelding staan, dus vandaar. Wij vonden het erg leuk om jou ontmoet te hebben en hebben heel erg genoten van de VIP tour back to the roots. Ook de excursie naar Olympia was een aanrader, ondanks de hitte.

Ga zo door, we wensen jou en je team een hele fijne zomer en hopen dat er vele toeristen de weg naar jullie zullen vinden. Voor de nederlanders die dit lezen, het is de moete waard om naar Nefeli te gaan want ze doen het prima.

I just wanted to say thank you once again to Jackie and Nefeli Travel for a wonderful day out on the "Back to the roots" tour.

It turned out to be the highlight of our holiday and was made all the more special by being in a small group and the personal attention Jackie offered to her party. The mythological stories and people we met will be a lasting memory.

We have just returned from our holiday in Tsilivi. Our last day was a lovely way to end the holiday, when we went on the VIP Shipwreck Trip.  Jacqui was lovely and made the day really special. We Would recommned going with Nefeli, as you get that extra special treatment and how lovley it was to be the first to arrive on the shipwreck beach, before all the other boats and hundreads of people arrived.  The trip around  and in the blue caves was fab and brillient to jump off and swim in the caves. A wonderful final day. Thanks Jacqui We loved it. 

Hi. We have just come back from our holiday in Tsilivi.  We booked  two trips VIP SHIPWRECK & BLUE CAVES and VIP PIRATES & TURTLES. We were so pleased that we did it with Nefeli travel becouse each time there was max 16 people on a boat so everyone could enjoy the trip. Jackie  made both trips unforgattable....

Hopefully we can do it again...

Myself and my wife (Sheila) have just returned from a week in Tsilivi, During which time we went on the Turtles trip with Nefeli, It was a great trip, made especially so with Jacky's unsurpassable knowledge of Zakynthos, Turtles, Local History, Geography, Geology etc. The trip itself was attended by 3 members sea preservation society, who gave an informative presentation on the Turtles. An excellent tour. give these guys a try

My wife & I have just just returned from Tsilivi on our Honeymoon. Whilst there, we went on the VIP Shipwreck and Blue Caves tour, the VIP Back to roots island tour and the VIP Turtles Tour with Nefeli and the Olympia Tour arranged by Nefeli, but run by Tez.

Firstly, I want to thank Jackie, Hannah, all the drivers and boat captains for everything. they have all been absolutely fantastic with us and made us feel special. It has been a pleasure to deal with the staff there who go out of their way to make sure you have a great time.

We have come away from Tsilivi having visited many special places and heard many unforgettable stories from Greek Mythology and all of this helped to make our Honeymoon very special.

So glad we didn't just book the tours with our holiday reps because they would not have been so special and would have cost twice as much.

I strongly recommend that you have a chat with Jackie or Hannah if you are in the area and see how they can help to make your holiday special.
